Borneo Diving

Dive crew
Sipadan island

Us and Julia
Tawau

We just returned from doing some great diving in Mabul and Sipadan in northern Borneo. We saw some amazing fish and were lucky to have a great group of people to dive with. We made some new friends and saw our old friend Julia from Lembeh. We just happened to run into her. The world is a small place.

There were a couple of dives that had more then 30 turtles on them. We saw schools of sharks, barracuda, bat fish and jacks. Also nice frog fish and macro life. The dive guides were good and it was good for Dixie and I to get away together. Enjoy the pictures.

Turning 31

No gray hair yet
Hard Rock
Sling shot ride
Guam sunset
Well I am now a year older. I spent my birthday in a PALS class. Fun fun. We did go out to eat and Dixie came up with the idea of me doing the sling shot ride for my birthday. I am terrified of heights. This ride goes from ground to 230 feet in the air in 1 second and then stops at 150 feet in the air to give you a view around on the way back down. Friends were there for support or I would have bailed. Dixie loved the ride and I survived. I will never forget turning 31 though.
